Terms of Service

These terms cover booking and receiving aircraft care from Cielo Aircraft Care LLC ("Cielo," "we," "us"). You agree to them when you book a treatment.

Effective 10 August 2026 · Version 2026-08-v1

What we provide

Cielo Aircraft Care LLC provides mobile aircraft care at your aircraft's location: interior treatments (Reset), exterior treatments (Refresh), and paint enhancement (Refine). Work is performed by hand using aviation-appropriate products and methods.

What we do not provide

Cielo performs appearance and surface care only. We are not a maintenance provider and we are not a repair station. We do not perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, or inspections under 14 CFR Part 43. We do not make airworthiness determinations, and we make no entries in your aircraft's logbooks.

A clean aircraft is not a statement that it is airworthy or ready for flight. That judgment remains yours as owner or operator.

Booking and payment

Treatments are booked and paid for online. The price shown at checkout is calculated for your specific aircraft and for the treatments and condition you select, and it is the price you pay for that scope of work. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Your booking is reserved when payment is completed, or, for Refine, when your selected deposit is completed. Until then the date and time are not held.

Anything mandatory is already in the price you saw. We do not add fees after the fact.

If our pre-service inspection finds the aircraft in a different condition than the one you selected at booking, we will tell you before we begin, and no work is performed until you approve any price adjustment. The same applies to paint condition for Refine.

Refine: deposit, final pricing, and scope

Paint enhancement is assessed in person. You choose how much to pay at booking, anywhere from a 30% deposit up to payment in full.

After we inspect the aircraft on site we confirm the final price for the agreed scope. Any remaining balance is invoiced on completion, and if you have already paid more than the confirmed final price, we refund the difference.

The deposit holds your date and covers what we commit once it is booked: materials ordered for your aircraft and labor scheduled against that day.

If the inspection shows the work needs a different scope than the one you selected, whether a different treatment tier or conditions we could not see when you booked, we will tell you before we begin. You may accept the revised scope and price, keep the original scope where that is possible, or cancel and receive your deposit back. We do not perform additional chargeable work without your agreement.

Scheduling, duration, and access

Day counts shown when booking are estimates, subject to on-site inspection and to conditions. Your price is not an estimate. It is final unless the condition you selected does not match what we find on site, or, for Refine, the aircraft does not pass inspection. Aircraft care is weather dependent and is performed around your flight schedule.

Things outside anyone's control. We may need to reschedule for weather, airport or airspace closure, a security incident, wildfire smoke, or anything else outside our reasonable control that makes the work unsafe or ineffective. If that happens we will contact you and agree on a new time, and you will not be charged for the delay.

Stopping work. If conditions change once we are on site, whether weather, ramp activity, or something about the aircraft that makes continuing likely to cause damage, we may pause or stop. We will tell you why, and we will charge only for work completed.

Airport and facility charges. Access charges at the location you selected when booking are already included in your price. If the aircraft moves to a different field or facility after you book, and that facility charges for ramp access, escort, or parking so that we can work, we will tell you what it costs and confirm with you before we book it.

Access. You are responsible for making the aircraft accessible at the agreed time. That includes accurate location, gate or ramp access, and the information you provided at booking.

Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds

Rescheduling is always free. You may reschedule any treatment at no charge, at any time. Tell us as early as you can so we can offer the slot to someone else.

Reset and Refresh. Cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled time and you receive a full refund. Inside 24 hours we cannot refund the payment, because the day is already committed. Nothing is lost: what you paid stays as credit toward a rescheduled treatment, and that credit does not expire.

Refine. Refine is scheduled further ahead, and we order materials and commit labor for it, so it carries a 7-day policy. Cancel more than 7 days before your scheduled start and we refund everything you have paid. Inside 7 days we retain 30% of the price, because the materials are already purchased and the day is already committed, and we refund anything you paid above that. If you reschedule instead of cancelling, everything you have paid carries to the new date and does not expire.

If we cannot reach the aircraft. If we arrive and cannot access it, we will contact you and reschedule at no charge.

Your aircraft and its condition

What you tell us. You confirm that you own the aircraft or are authorized to arrange service for it, and that the information you give us, including the tail number, is accurate. Please also tell us anything we should know before we start: recent paint or repair work, areas that have reacted badly to cleaning before, loose trim or seals, or anything you would rather we did not touch.

What we document. We photograph the aircraft before we begin and again when we finish. Those photographs are the record of what we found and what we did.

What care can and cannot do. Aircraft care improves appearance and helps preserve surfaces. It cannot undo pre-existing damage. Conditions such as oxidation, corrosion, crazing, prior repairs, failing paint or sealant, and wear in interior materials may limit what any treatment can achieve, and some become more visible once the surfaces around them are cleaned or refined. We will tell you what we see. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, or for defects that our work reveals rather than causes.

Insurance and responsibility

Our insurance. We can provide a certificate of insurance on request.

If we damage your aircraft. If we cause physical damage to your aircraft while performing a treatment, we will make it right. Our responsibility for that damage is limited to the applicable limits of the insurance described above.

Your insurance comes first. For physical damage to the aircraft that is covered by your own hull policy, you agree to look to that policy first. Each of us waives, and will ask our insurer to waive, any right of recovery against the other for loss covered by that insurance. This does not reduce what we owe you for damage your policy does not cover.

Tell us promptly. If you believe we caused damage, tell us within 7 days of completion and send photographs, so that we can inspect the aircraft while the condition is still documentable and report it to our insurer in time.

What we are not responsible for. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost flight time, charter revenue, missed trips, downtime, diminution in value, or the cost of substitute aircraft. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, or for defects that our work reveals rather than causes.

Everything else. For any claim other than physical damage to the aircraft, our total liability arising from a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Photographs

We photograph your aircraft as part of every treatment. Those photographs are your record and ours. We may use photographs of our work in our marketing, on our website or in social posts, but we will never show your tail number. If you would rather your aircraft not appear at all, tell us and it won't. You can withdraw permission at any time.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by California law, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts in Santa Clara County, California. Either of us may still bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.

General

Severability. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.

Entire agreement. These terms, together with what you selected and agreed to at checkout, are the whole agreement between us for that booking.

No waiver. If we do not enforce something on one occasion, we have not given it up.

Assignment. You may not transfer a booking without our agreement. We may assign these terms in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. The terms that apply to your booking are the ones in effect when you booked.
